Bowie High School Women's Lacrosse
Bowie High School in Austin, Texas has fielded a women's lacrosse team for more than a decade. The team, made up of players from grades 9th-12th, is a member of the Central Texas Girls High School Lacrosse League (CTGHSLL). We are always looking for new players for this fast paced and exciting game, no experience necessary.
The Fall practices, drills and conditioning begin mid-September with Spring season beginning early February. The season is approximately 12-weeks.
This group of young women prides themselves on their ability to promote both academic and athletic excellence through hard work and determination.


SWAG LAX
Southwest Austin Girls Lacrosse (SWAG LAX) is a girls youth lacrosse program who plays within the Capital Area Girls Youth Lacrosse League (CAPLAX). This program is designed as a feeder program for the Bowie Women's Lacrosse program for girls in 3rd-8th grade.
SWAG LAX, also known as the Lady Bulldogs, works closely with the coaches of the Bowie High School Women's Lacrosse program. This program promotes social, athletic and academic growth in our young ladies.
Players who participate in this youth program will develop a solid skill set that will introduce them to the competitive side of the sport, prepare them to be better lacrosse players, have more confidence in their ability, and have a greater appreciation and enjoyment for the game of lacrosse.
The Spring season begins in mid-March with practices starting in January. The season is approximately six weeks. Games are held on Saturdays and Sundays, often with 2 games in one day to take advantage of available field space.
