The Bowie Women's Lacrosse is a 501(c)(7) non-profit organization which is governed by our bylaws. Executive board members are nominated by committee and voted on at our end of year banquet.  We have several volunteer opportunities for our parents including committee chair positions and game day administration duties for our home games each season.  Booster Club members vote to approve our annual budget and financial reports are presented by the treasurer at booster club meetings.

Our purpose is to promote and encourage academic and athletic excellence in young women to help build their self-confidence and self-esteem.  This requires fundraising so we can pay our coaches, field rental for home games, tournament registration fees and other operating and equipment costs. Additional fundraisers throughout the year include such things as selling of spirit items, participation at events such as Bulldogs & Hotdogs, holding camps and/or clinics and monthly Spirit Nights at local restaurants.  We also actively seek sponsorships and financial support from local businesses.
